General Contracting

General Contracting

Having been in the construction industry since 1951, over many decades we have developed long-lasting relationships with property owners, architects, subcontractors, suppliers and municipal officials which are the foundation for delivering projects on time and within budget.

Once the construction contract has been signed, the construction process starts. After a thorough bid process, we interview and qualify subcontractors and require them to submit their project-specific plan for achieving successful completion of their scope including quality, safety and punch out. Prior to the subcontract execution, our project management team identifies possible conflicts or omissions to reduce the possibility of change orders and delays.

Throughout the construction process, regular meetings are held to ensure continuous communication, helping to identify any issues that could affect the construction. As a general contractor, our clients prize our ability to provide supervision, management, quality control and deliver a final project constructed per plans and specifications, all while tightly monitoring and controlling construction schedules and budgets. After inspections, approvals and payments occur on a regular basis, sequential turnover of units can begin which will ultimately lead to the close out/warranty phase to transfer the project to the owner.  This phase includes developing and executing punchout lists, achieving substantial completion, finalizing project costs, organizing maintenance manuals, ensuring proper building start-ups and operation, responding to owner questions and concerns, and providing timely resolution to warranty items.
